Peter N. Grant, JD, PhD
Managing Member and Advisory Board Chair

Mr. Grant is the managing member of Train for Compliance, LLC. He is President and CEO of Health Care Conference Administrators, L.L.C., a company which sponsors media and educational events, including national conferences, internet-based events, and publications on matters of health care practice and policy. He is a partner and co-chair, of the Health Law Group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a national law firm with 400 attorneys and 50 health care attorneys. Mr. Grant is Listed in the 1996-97, 1997-1998, 1998-1999, 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002 and 2002 - 2003 editions of The Best Lawyers in America. He is past president of both the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys and the Northern California Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Grant is general counsel to both the IPA Association of America and the California Integrated Healthcare Association. He is an Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health in Berkeley, California. He serves on the Editorial board of Health Affairs and the Advisory Board of the Harvard Health Policy Review. Mr. Grant has a BA in Plan II, with special honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended the Sorbonne and Free University of West Berlin. He received a JD from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA and Ph.D. from Harvard University.


Keith M. Korenchuk, JD, MPH
President

Keith Korenchuk is a partner in the law firm of McGuireWoods in Charlotte, North Carolina. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Train for HIPAA. He has had twenty years if national health experience. He has advised integrated delivery systems, medical groups, hospitals, medical schools and managed care companies throughout the country in a number of health law related areas. His national practice focused on mergers, acquisitions, integrated delivery system design and development and health plan development. A well known lecturer and speaker on health care issues, Keith is also the author of numerous health care books detailing the evolution of various aspects of integrated delivery systems including Medicare Managed Care, Transforming the Delivery of Health Care: The Integration Process, The Physician Equity Model, Merging Medical Practices and Physician Hospital Organizations. In addition to his legal degree from the University of Virginia, Keith received his M.P.H. in health services administration from Harvard University in 1982.


Stephen P. Aitchison
Vice President, Technology

Mr. Aitchison is the CEO and Principal Technology Consultant of Cygnus Design & Consulting in Bellingham, WA. He has specialized in Internet Technologies since 1996 and has represented companies in the Health Care-related industry since 1998.

Mr. Aitchison has also consulted and provided solutions for firms in a wide range of fields, including technology, entertainment, education, and finance. He has worked with Health Care Conference Administrators on HIPAA and other compliance issues, coordinating their internet technologies since 1999.

Paul T. Smith, Esq.
Vice President, Content Development

Mr. Smith is Chair of Davis Wright Tremaine's health law practice in the San Francisco office, and a member of the governing committee of the firm-wide health law practice. He has practiced business law for clients in the U.S. health care industry since 1982, representing hospitals, hospital associations, medical groups, and a variety of provider network organizations in corporate formation and governance, joint ventures, financing, reimbursement and regulation.

Mr. Smith also represents technology firms both within and outside the health care industry in business, financing, licensing and regulatory matters, including data privacy and security. He is co-chair of the firm's e-Health/HIPAA task force (www.ehealthlaw.com), which advises clients on the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and other e-health issues. Mr. Smith has authored several articles on HIPAA, and is co-author of the California Healthcare Association's forthcoming HIPAA Compliance Manual. He has spoken on HIPAA at numerous conferences, including the IBM/Modern Healthcare national conferences on HIPAA compliance, HIPAA Summits I, II and III, HIPAA West, and the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys.


Matthew Feigenbaum, JD, MPH
Vice President

Mr. Feigenbaum is a healthcare attorney and e-learning specialist with substantive expertise in a broad range of compliance matters. Prior to joining Train for Compliance, Mr. Feigenbaum spent five years focused exclusively on the design, development, and delivery of web-based training applications that assist healthcare providers and businesses in meeting their regulatory compliance training requirements. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Feigenbaum primarily represented physicians and hospital organizations in both litigation and transactional matters.
